How it works
Concrete is easier than you think.
Step 1
Mix and pour
A 60-lb bag of quickset concrete covers four to five stepping stones. Mix to the consistency of thick peanut butter — it holds its shape but flows into the mold. The whole pour takes about ten minutes.
Step 2
Set and personalize
Let the stone cure in the mold for 24 to 48 hours. Press in handprints, mosaic tiles, or leaf impressions while the concrete is still wet — the design locks in as it hardens.
Step 3
Unmold and place
Flex the mold gently and the stone releases clean. A polypropylene mold rated for 50+ pours. Space by natural stride, lay your path, and you're done before dinner.
